The problem with existing tools
Most quoting and scheduling software for lawn care was built by software companies, not lawn care operators. They're feature-bloated, expensive, and designed to be managed from a computer in an office — not a phone in a truck at a customer's property.
The market leader charges $49 to $249 per month. For a solo operator making $60,000 to $80,000 a year, that's real money. And the features you actually use — measuring a yard, sending a quote, tracking who paid — are buried under a mountain of things you'll never touch.
"I just want to pull up to a property, measure it, send a quote, and get paid. Why does that require a 40-tab CRM?"
The idea
LAWN.Quote was built around a single question: what does a solo operator actually need to run their business from their phone, in the field, every day?
The answer was simpler than the software industry wanted to admit. You need to measure a property quickly. You need to build a quote with real pricing. You need to send it to the customer in 10 seconds. You need to schedule the job. You need to track who paid and how. That's it.
Everything else — the CRM dashboards, the team management screens, the marketing automation — is for someone else. LAWN.Quote is built for you: the person in the truck.
What makes it different
Three things set LAWN.Quote apart from every other tool in this space:
Satellite measurement. Tap pins on Google Maps satellite imagery to measure any property without leaving your truck. Draw zones, subtract the driveway and pool. Square footage calculates automatically. No other quoting tool has this built in for lawn care specifically.
The upsell engine. At every property, a checklist of what you see — bare patches, overgrown beds, weeds. The app suggests upsells and adds them to the quote in one tap. Most operators pick up an extra $50-150 per job from upsells they weren't asking for before.
The price. Ten dollars a month. One job with one upsell pays for the entire year.
Where we're going
LAWN.Quote is actively being built based on feedback from real operators using it in the field every day. Every bug report, every feature request, every "it would be great if..." gets read and responded to personally.
The roadmap includes team scheduling for small crews, client portal for online quote acceptance, integration with payment processors for card payments on site, and an AI-powered pricing engine that learns from your historical jobs to suggest better rates.
But the foundation will never change: fast, simple, built for the truck.
"One upsell per week pays for the whole year. Everything after that is pure profit."
